These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SipUp website and mobile applications (together, the “Platform”), operated by SipUp (Wine Direct Ltd) (“SipUp”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing the Platform, browsing, registering an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
SipUp is an on-demand grocery and alcohol delivery service operating in the United Kingdom. We provide rapid delivery of groceries and alcohol products to customers using SipUp’s own delivery riders or authorised delivery personnel.
All orders placed through the Platform are ASAP orders only. SipUp does not accept scheduled or future-dated orders.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol products through the Platform. By placing an order containing alcohol, you confirm that you are legally permitted to do so.
SipUp delivery riders may request valid photographic identification at the point of delivery. Failure to provide acceptable ID may result in refusal of delivery of alcohol products.
The Platform and products are intended for personal, domestic use only. Purchasing for resale, wholesale distribution, or commercial redistribution is prohibited. SipUp reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
To place an order, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. SipUp may suspend or terminate accounts where misuse, fraudulent activity, or false information is identified.
All orders are subject to acceptance by SipUp. SipUp reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time where required for legal, operational, or security reasons.
SipUp aims to deliver orders within 60 minutes. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to factors such as traffic conditions, weather, high demand, or operational constraints in London. SipUp shall not be liable for delays outside of our reasonable control.
An order is deemed completed once it has been delivered to the address provided by the customer and accepted by the recipient. Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon successful delivery. SipUp shall not be responsible for loss, damage, or deterioration of goods once delivery has been completed.
If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address details, customer unavailability, failure to provide valid ID, or inability to locate the recipient, SipUp reserves the right to cancel the order. Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances and product type.
All prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time. The final price payable is the price shown at checkout.
Payment must be completed before an order is dispatched. SipUp reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders where necessary.
Only one promotional code or offer may be applied per order unless explicitly stated otherwise. Promotional offers may not be combined. SipUp reserves the right to withdraw, modify, or cancel promotions at any time.
Due to the nature of grocery and alcohol products, all sales are generally final. Perishable goods, chilled items, and alcohol products are non-returnable once delivered unless the item is damaged, defective, unsafe, or incorrectly supplied.
If you believe an item is incorrect or faulty, you must notify SipUp within a reasonable timeframe after delivery. SipUp may, at its discretion, offer a refund, replacement, or credit.
Products with a shelf life of more than two (2) months are not eligible for return on the grounds of short-dated expiry unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Where an ordered item is unavailable, SipUp may provide a suitable substitute of equal or greater value, unless you opt out of substitutions at checkout. If you are not satisfied with a substitute, you may request a refund for that substituted item only.
Alcohol sales are subject to strict age verification requirements. SipUp riders may request valid photographic ID at delivery.
SipUp reserves the right to refuse delivery of alcohol in the following circumstances:
In such cases, alcohol items will not be handed over. Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
SipUp makes reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Packaging, appearance, and availability may vary.
SipUp collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, and in line with our Privacy Policy.
All content on the Platform is owned by SipUp or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any content without prior written permission.
Any reviews or feedback provided to SipUp may be used by us for service improvement without compensation.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SipUp shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising out of your use of the Platform.
SipUp shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, traffic strikes).
SipUp may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or where required by law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
